JOHANNESBURG - The EFF maintains it's the only political party in the country that is not corrupt.
It says it doesn’t have a problem disclosing funders.
The party's deputy president, Floyd Shivambu, said his party welcomed the Political Party Funding Bill that President Cyril Ramaphosa signed into law.
“We're disclosing our sources of funding because we do not have any dirty or dodgy funders that give money to the EFF for narrow political purposes,” he said.
Shivambu said his relationship with party leader, Julius Malema was still strong.
“We work together closely very well. Anyone who imagines that there's any division, they are just being overwhelmed by subjectivity and hatred and envy that here's a united organisation and leadership. They wish that one day it can break. It will never happen,” he said.
Asked whether he will challenge Malema for the leadership race, Shivambu said “I am not obsessed about positions in the EFF.”
He added that he will not consider standing against Malema if he were asked.
