Australia Senator Fraser Anning loses it after a young man slapps him with an egg on his head during an interview about New Zealand mosque attacks.


An Australian senator whose controversial statement on the New Zealand mosque attacks caused outrage, has been left with egg on his face – LITERALLY!

Fraser Anning blamed Friday’s deadly shooting, which killed 49 people, on Muslim immigration.

He said Muslims are usually the ones who kill in the name of their faith.

During a briefing in Melbourne on Saturday, a young man slapped Anning with an egg on his head.

In footage of the incident, the angry senator could be seen hitting the man before being restrained.

Police were called in and the protester was arrested, before being released without charge.

Anning denies his words were hate speech.
