Emmerson Mnangagwa sworn in as Zimbabwe's President

JOHANNESBURG – Emmerson Mnangagwa has been sworn in as Zimbabwe President.

Mnangagwa's inauguration was postponed a week ago when MDC-Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa approached the courts, claiming the 30 July poll was rigged.

Mnangagwa is Zimbabwe's second president since the country's independence.

He took over the country after former president Robert Mugabe was removed from the role.
