CAPE TOWN - He was known to many as the bubbly eNCA camera operator, but Lungile Tom was also his mother's only child, a husband, a dad and a friend.
From 25-29 November government is asking South Africans to remember those who lost their lives to COVID-19 and we, as eNCA, are remembering our beloved colleague.
Tom may be a statistic of this devastating virus, but his memory lives on.
As a fitting tribute, he was named a winner in the Vodacom Regional Journalism Awards earlier this month.
