JOHANNESBURG - Eskom is reducing power cuts from Stage 2 to Stage 1.
This will start at 5pm until 10pm.
Stage 1 will continue at the same time on Sunday.
The power utility highlighted that the shortage of generation capacity persists and that its systems are still constrained.
South Africans are urged to continue using electricity sparingly and to switch off all non-essential items.
