JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has implemented Stage 2 blackouts from 5pm until 10pm.
Power cuts will be repeated at the same time throughout the week due to the continued shortage of generation capacity.
The beleaguered utility has been struggling to keep the lights on, implementing Stage 4 power cuts at times last week.
Eskom is urging the public to switch off all non-essential items.
