JOHANNESBURG - The Eskom board has approved a process that could result in the retrenchment of senior managers.

That’s the confirmation from the company on Wednesday.

The power utility said despite efforts to curb expenditure, operating costs have continued to increase dramatically.

It said output has remained largely unchanged.
