File: Eskom will implement rolling blackouts.
JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has ramped up power cuts to Stage 6 starting from 2pm on Thursday until midnight.
Stage 6 will continue from 5am until midnight on Friday.
Eskom says a minimum of Stage 4 will be required continuously over the weekend.
The power utility says the increased power cuts is being caused by striking workers as routine maintenance isn't being done.
