JOHANNESBURG - It will be another dark evening for South Africans as Eskom continues with its plan to implement Stage 4 blackouts from 4pm.
The utility says its reserves are running low.

It hopes to get around 600 megawatts from a powerline in Mozambique by Sunday.
The country is currently moving between Stage 4 and 6 blackouts.
Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter said the utility spent around R1.5-billion on diesel in the month of June.
This is said to double the amount initially allocated.
"Our reserves are running low, this is something we are addressing," he said.
"We are sourcing additional diesel supplies from whatever sources we can. We have not replenished our dams as much as we would like so we, unfortunately, will return to Stage 6 from 4pm this afternoon to ensure we safely navigate during our peak period."
