Eskom warns of possible load-shedding

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has warned of possible load shedding.

The utility says it might implement Stage 2 at short notice.

A coal conveyor belt at Medupi failed last night, impeding the ability to generate electricity.

Eskom says employees are working around the clock to fix the conveyor belt.

South Africans are yet again urged to use electricity sparingly.
