JOHANNESBURG - Numsa says Eskom's improved wage offer will be formally presented to the central bargaining council on Friday.
The power utility has reportedly offered a 7 percent wage increase.
Some of Eskom's workers are on strike.
The company says this has placed electricity supply under pressure.
The country is currently on Stage 6 of power outages with the exception of Cape Town which remains on Stage 4.
On Tuesday, Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan announced Eskom was discussing a new wage deal with unions.
