eThekwini city manager released on bail

DURBAN - eThekwini City Manager, Sipho Nzuza, has been released on R50, 000 bail.

Nzuza was arrested by the Hawks on Tuesday morning.

He is facing charges of fraud and corruption totalling around R430-million.

Nzuza is expected back in court on 16 April.

It's related to the Durban Solid Waste tender.

Around 300-people have been investigated, and some cases date back to 2003.
