A former cabinet minister’s wife has been arrested for domestic violence, assault, malicious damage to property, and crimen injuria.
PRETORIA - A former cabinet minister’s wife has been arrested for assault, and malicious damage to property on Friday.
The Hawks has confirmed that she is being held at Brooklyn police station in Pretoria.
Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the arrest was effected on Friday after an incident was reported this week.
Mulaudzi said the woman is under investigation for assaulting her husband, among other charges.
She will appear in the Hatfield Magistrate court for a bail application on Monday.
