JOHANNESBURG - In an exclusive eNCA interview, ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule has defended his reputation saying he is not corrupt.
"I'm not corrupt. Never in my history have I done any corruption. For many years, I've been at the helm of political powers and office. I can't be, after so many years of struggle, become corrupt. I welcome the charges."
Magashule says he is not bothered by his former personal assistant turning state witness.
" She must say whatever she knows. That will be fine. I want anybody who thinks I'm corrupt to get this platform now. Let them be called to give evidence. Let the South African people judge.
Magashule appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Friday facing 21 charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering.
