Family of missing woman traumatised after excavation

It all started with photos shared on social media. Many believed they were of Denise Coetzee’s remains. The house where she lived with her daughter and husband has now been searched and the grounds excavated. eNCA’s Nobesuthu Hejana reports. #DStv403

 

MACASSAR - The family of a missing Western Cape woman has been left traumatised after police descended on their home in Macassar and started excavating.

The operation was meant to find Denise Coetzee’s remains.

She went missing in September 2010 and was 50 years old at the time.

Western Cape police say they acted on a tip-off.
