JOHANNESBURG - The father of missing Khayalethu Magadla says he’s disappointed that emergency services have completed the physical search for his son.

Monday marks 15 days since the 6-year-old fell into a manhole in Soweto.

"I still believe he fell inside the pipe. I feel disappointed when they say they are done with the search," he said.

"I feel that he was pushed by water. Why can’t they follow the river? They must follow the river where ever the river is going. I feel like they need to search all those things."

Meanwhile, Johannesburg Water will continue the search for Magadla.

Emergency services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says Joburg Water will handle operations at the waste treatment plant.
