PRETORIA - The advisory panel on land reform and agriculture has released its final report.
Chairperson, Vuyokazi Mahlati, says part of the problem of the failure of land reform is land distribution.
The panel believes this issue hasn't received the attention it deserves.
The panel also said historical injustices and inequality must be rectified.
“The message of the land reform process is not to undermine the property rights of individuals but to realise the constitution’s mandate to deliver land reform as a corrective and restorative measure to historical
issues,” the 144-page report said.
