South African cyclist Nic Dlamini whose arm was broken during a scuffle with SanParks rangers in December 2019.
CAPE TOWN - Five SanParks rangers have been suspended following the violent arrest of cyclist, Nicholas Dlamini.
SanParks officials say an independent service provider will be investigating the incident.
Dlamini suffered a broken arm after rangers forced him into a van, for apparently not paying to get into the park where he was cycling in Cape Town.
SanParks says the incident which took place at the Silvermine section of the Table Mountain National Park on Friday, is regrettable.
Dlamini is recovering in Hospital.
