NEWCASTLE - Former KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Dr Frank Mdlalose, was laid to rest on Thursday in Newcastle.
He died of COVID-19 related complications on Saturday.
A category two special funeral was held for him.

He served as the first democratic premier of KwaZulu-Natal and was later appointed as the country's ambassador to Egypt.
