Four children abducted on their way to school

POLOKWANE - Police are searching for four children who were abducted in Polokwane on Wednesday morning.

The children aged 6, 11, 13, and 15 years, were forcefully removed from a BMW by a group of seven armed suspects.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

Motlafela Mojapelo, Polokwane police spokesperson said, "what we know is that the seven suspects were so violent and were shooting at random."

"We are making an appeal to anyone with information to come forward. Immediately after taking the children, they took the N1 bypass connecting Polokwane, so they could've taken the R71 or the N1 north, they could have taken any other road. People who have any idea what happened, please come forward."
