On Friday, three miners were killed at the same mine in a trackless mobile machinery accident and at a Rustenburg mine, one worker died in a fall of ground.

Sibanye-Stillwater has sent its condolences to the families of the deceased.

The company said any loss of life is unacceptable and all efforts are being made to address the increase in fatal safety incidents.
