JOHANNESBURG - The ANC in Gauteng is calling for fresh elections in two of the province's metros.
The party’s accused the Cities of Tshwane and Johannesburg of running dysfunctional coalition governments.
Tshwane has recently been rocked by irregular senior appointments, while its city manager is facing allegations of corruption.
On Thursday, the ANC in that city will forge ahead with its plans to oust mayor Solly Msimanga through a no-confidence vote.
The party is confident the motion will succeed.
