JOHANNESBURG - The COVID-19 storm is closing in on Gauteng, according to acting Health MEC Jacob Mamabolo.
The province is expected to see a drastic increase in coronavirus cases between the last week of August and early September.
Mamabolo unpacked the situation, saying adhering to lockdown regulations is crucial to curbing the spread of COVID-19.
He promised the Gauteng government will crack down on risky behaviour.
