JOHANNESBURG - The Transport Authority of Gauteng will be formally established by the end of this year.
This establishment forms part of the province's Growth and Development Strategy.
The strategy underlines the need for a provincial transport system as a vital element for the growth of the economy.
However, there have been delays in the process and questions about strategy and funding.
