JOHANNESBURG - Seven suspects arrested by the JMPD following the Global Citizen concert will appear in court on the 11th of December.
They are being charged with armed robbery.
The JMPD says valuable lessons have been learnt and will be implemented in the future.
“We will have to expand the area. The area had no signal. For future concerts, we will make safe zone bigger. It will be more closely monitored. I think we have learnt from Sunday and we will plan better for future concerts and future sporting events,” said JMPD spokesperson, Wayne Minnaar.
