JOHANNESBURG - Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan is promising everything possible is being done to mitigate the effects of load-shedding.

Members of Parliament have laid into government over the latest bout of rolling blackouts.

Gordhan addressed the problems at Eskom during a debate on the State of the Nation Address in Parliament.

He said government shares the country's frustrations and that plans are afoot to fix the situation.
