JOHANNESBURG - The corruption case of Zandile Gumede and 21 others has been postponed to 30 November.
The former eThekwini Mayor appeared for pre-trial proceedings at the High Court in Pietermaritzburg on Monday.
The NPA has added charges against former eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede. Gumede and her co-accused will now have to answer to racketeering charges in addition to more than 2,000 corruption-related charges against them. She and her co-accused have been implicated in the R430-million Durban solid-waste tender scandal.
eThekwini ANC branches have come out in numbers to support her outside court.
