CAPE TOWN - Sentencing gets underway in the Western Cape High Court for the murderers of student Hannah Cornelius.
Vernon Witbooi, Geraldo Parsons and Eben van Niekerk have been convicted of raping and killing the 21-year-old in May last year.
They were also found guilty of attempted murder for the attack on Cornelius's friend Cheslin Marsh, who survived.

The fourth accused was found guilty of robbery and kidnapping.
The state is demanding life sentences for Cornelius's killers.
The murder trial of four men accused of the kidnapping and rape of Stellenbosch student Hannah Cornelius is expected to begin in Cape Town today.
