It follows reports of a new wave sweeping China.

Experts believe the Omicron variant could peak at around 65 million cases a week by the end of June.

The department says it's continued its surveillance work and has not picked up a spike or new variants.

Despite this, the department is urging people to get vaccinated and take booster shots.
