The hearing into the fitness of Western Cape Judge President John Hlophe to hold office is expected to start today.

JOHANNESBURG - The hearing into the fitness of Western Cape Judge President, John Hlophe to hold office started on Monday.
Hlophe is accused of trying to influence two Constitutional Court judges to rule in favour of then ANC President Jacob Zuma in 2008.
At the time Zuma was facing prosecution for arms deal-linked corruption.
But Hlophe is maintaining his innocence.
The Judicial Conduct Tribunal comprises two practising judges, a retired judge, and a practising attorney.
