CAPE TOWN - The National Assembly has agreed to remove Nomgcobo Jiba and Lawrence Mrwebi as senior prosecutors on Tuesday.
The decision follows deliberations by the Justice Committee on whether the pair should be reinstated.
President Cyril Ramaphosa dismissed the pair on the recommendation of the Mokgoro Inquiry, but Parliament had to determine whether he made the right decision.
In November, Jiba wrote to the Speaker of the National Assembly, saying she no longer wishes to be reinstated to the job.
In her letter, Jiba said after consultations with her family, she's decided to move on with her life.
