JOHANNESBURG - Former Deputy Finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas told the State Capture Inquiry on Friday how he was threatened by a Gupta brother.

The threat was made during a meeting, which also involved then-president Jacob Zuma's son, Duduzane.

He claimed the Gupta family offered him R600-million and the position as finance minister.

It’s been over two years since Jonas claimed he was offered R600 000 in cash, and a further R600-million if he accepted the job of finance minister.

Duduzane Zuma said no such thing took place.
