Klipfontein primary school targeted in robbery

Yet another Gauteng school has been robbed. A primary school in Klipfontein View in Midrand is the latest target.

MIDRAND - A primary school in Klipfontein View has been the target of a robbery after two other state-of-the-art schools have been looted.

Menzi Primary School was burglarised in January and of Edenvale High School was hit by armed robbers in February.

In the early hours of Monday morning, Gideon Rambuwani Primary School in Klipfontein View, Midrand was hit by robbers.

A server, two laptops, 27 computers, a print camera and a video camera are among the items stolen.

The school governing body is worried that pupils' education is now partially on hold.

The Gauteng Education Department is disappointed at the latest school robbery.

The community is vowing to work with police until the culprits are found and the equipment is returned.
