JOHANNESBURG - The West Rand community wants more police presence as seven other suspects appeared in Krugersdorp magistrate's court on Thursday.

Community members said they hope to see justice being served with this case.

The suspects face multiple charges including rape, contravention of the Immigration act and robbery with aggravating circumstances.

One of the suspects is a 16-year-old minor.

The NPA has also confirmed that there is a South African amongst the suspects but investigations are still underway.

The seven suspects will be back in the dock on 28 September.
