DURBAN - The long wait for housing is almost over for the victims of Kwazulu-Natal's deadly floods.
The provincial government has now identified land to build new homes.
The April floods left thousands of people homeless.
Meanwhile, Premier Sihle Zikalala is looking to turn around the state of local government in the province.
At least eight municipalities in the province are under administration.
Zikalala led the Local Government Indaba in Durban as they try to address some of the major issues facing local governance and service delivery.
