JOHANNESBURG - Under pressure to conclude the keenly watched the land reform process, the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Land Reform says the tabling of the bill is a milestone.
The committee says the expropriation bill will provide policy certainty in the country.
This now means the Parliamentary process to debate and pass the bill can begin in earnest.
President Cyril Ramaphosa says he'd like to see the process concluded by the end of the year.
The Bill empowers the courts to settle disputes arising on the expropriated land or property.
