JOHANNESBURG - At least 13 people have been killed after parts of a church collapsed in Dlangubo, Empangeni, in KwaZulu-Natal.

It's believed heavy rains led to the collapse at the Pentecostal church full of worshippers on Thursday night.

Government officials, led by Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC, Nomusa Dube-Ncube, are on their way to the scene.
