JOHANNESBURG - Lesotho's Prime Minister Thomas Thabane has skipped the country, allegedly due to medical reasons.

He was due to appear in court on Friday in connection with his estranged wife's murder in 2017.

Thabane is facing charges of murder, attempted murder and malicious damage to property.

This comes on the heels of First Lady Maesaiah Thabane being charged with her murder.
