JOHANNESBURG - More than R430-million was spent to decontaminate, disinfect and deep clean schools in Gauteng.
A report into the spending was compiled by the provincial education department’s HOD.
Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says he's dismayed by the report.
“I wish to reaffirm my commitment to leave no stone unturned on this, including holding those who procured these services accountable.”
He says the department is also consulting with law enforcement agencies.
