Liquor traders cry out for help

JOHANNESBURG - The livelihoods of nearly a million people hang in the balance because of the alcohol sales ban.

That's according to the National Liquor Traders Council and Liquor Traders Association of South Africa.

They are begging for an urgent meeting with government to discuss the ban.

The associations want financial support, UIF Ters benefits and rental relief.
