JOHANNESBURG - The presence of coronavirus is not a reflection of a weakness in the country's health system.

That's the word from Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize.

South Africa has confirmed the country's first case is a man in KwaZulu-Natal.

The 38-year-old went on a trip to Italy with his wife and 10 other people.

Mkhize says the spread will have to be monitored on a daily basis.
