IFP ready to launch election manifesto

The IFP will launch its 2019 election manifesto at the Chatsworth Stadium.

CHATSWORTH - The Inkatha Freedom Party launches its 2019 election manifesto on Sunday. 

IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi said his party won’t be promising South Africans an overnight land of milk and honey when it unveils its manifesto at the Chatsworth Stadium in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

In January, the party appointed KZN Secretary Velenkosini Hlabisa as its Presidential Candidate after Buthelezi announced he won't be standing for re-election at the party's elective conference.

Buthelezi has been the party's leader for 44 years.

The event is expected to start at 10am.
