JOHANNESBURG - The Constitutional Court delivered judgment on the case involving the Public Protector and the South African Reserve bank.
The court dismissed Busisiwe Mkhwebane's appeal against a high court order, that she be held personally liable for 15-percent of the costs of the matter involving Absa/Bankorp.
It also found her investigation was flawed, and that she had put forward a number of falsehoods.
The judgment could have significant consequences for Mkhwebane whose recent report is now also being taken under judicial review by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
