WATCH: Fired murder-accused Mpumalanga MEC back in court

The former Mpumalanga Agriculture MEC and five others are facing charges of murder and attempted murder. 

NELSPRUIT - Former Mpumalanga Agriculture MEC, Mandla Msibi returns to the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court where his bail application continues.

Warrant officer, Boy Bhila, told the court infighting in the ANC could see Msibi targetted on the outside.

The former MEC was allegedly involved in a shooting that left two people dead and wounded a third.

The incident reportedly took place on22 August near a popular drinking spot in Mbombela.

It’s understood that the shooting was in connection with the ANC candidates list process.
