JOHANNESBURG - An inquest into the death of anti-apartheid and trade union activist Neil Aggett is expected to start today at the South Gauteng High Court.
He died in 1982 after he was detained for seventy days without trial.
Police claimed he committed suicide in the holding cells, but the Agget family believes there was foul play and is looking to overturn the findings that he committed suicide.
