Kwazulu-Natal transport MEC, Bheki Ntuli, has outlined the province's state of readiness for the 21-day lockdown. The MEC laid out the security plan and how security forces will be enforcing the law.

JOHANNESBURG - KZN MEC for Transport Bheki Ntuli briefed the media on KZN's state of readiness and the province's security plan at the quarantine sites.
Ntuli also briefed media on how law enforcement will deal with those who escape quarantine sites.
South Africa has 709 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
A nationwide lockdown will come in effect on Thursday midnight.
