CAPE TOWN - Finance Minister Tito Mboweni is tabling an emergency budget on Wednesday.
Since last month, government has started loosening the lockdown to enable business activity to gradually resume.
Government announced an unscheduled R500-billion economic stimulus and social relief package, including R100-billion for job protection.
Mboweni is likely to tell us that the gap between our revenue and spending has deteriorated closer to 15 percent.
