JOHANNESBURG - Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga is set to address the country on the department's readiness to reopen schools.

Schools have been closed for over two months in a bid to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Motshekga was meant to present her plan last week but rescheduled.

The different provinces reported that they were at various stages of readiness and requested more time for the delivery of personal protection equipment.
