The country remains on level 3 lockdown despite approaching the coronavirus peak. However stricter regulations have been put in place to battle the spread of Covid-19. The sale, dispensing and distribution of alcohol has been suspended and an evening curfew has been implemented. Ministers from the social cluster are giving an update on the amended lockdown regulations.

JOHANNESBURG - The National Coronavirus Command Council will continue to brief the country on Monday following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address to the nation on Sunday.
The social cluster will hold a briefing on government's plans to combat the spread of COVID-19 in South Africa.
Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize will lead the briefing.
