The National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces are holding a joint sitting to debate President Cyril Ramaphosa's State of the Nation Address.

CAPE TOWN - The National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces will hold a joint sitting to debate President Cyril Ramaphosa's State of the Nation Address.
The debate will be held over Tuesday and Wednesday, with Ramaphosa responding on Friday.
Opposition party members are expected to take the president, his executive and the governing party to task over government's promises, plans and performance over the past year.
Keynote speakers will include DA interim leader John Steenhuisen, EFF leader Julius Malema, Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu, IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Nothern Cape Premier Zamani Saul, Freedom Plus leader Pieter Groenewald and GOOD leader Patricia de Lille.
